Wine & Cycling
The number of sights to see is numerous and includes visits to castles and wineries, all of which can be reached following one of the three cycle paths along the German Wine Street.
Bicycle trail "Deutsche Weinstraße"
Distance: approx. 95 km.
Route: from Schweigen-Rechtenbach through the vineyards along the German Wine Street to Bockenheim
Features: attracts many visitors in the months of September and October but has a wide variety of dining and accommodation possibilities
Requirements: more suitable for experienced bike riders

Distance: approx. 23 km.
Route: from Neustadt an der Weinstrasse to Speyer through the forest alogside the River Speyerbach
Features: enjoy being close to Nature and visit the two towns and their main monuments
Requirements: easy, also for children or with a bicycle trailer

Bicycle trail through France and Germany "Pamina Lautertal"
Distance: approx. 57 km.
Route: Hinterweidenthal - Wissembourg – and then take the Rhine ferry to Neuburg
Features: 30 km of gentle descents from Wieslautertal to Wissembourg, along meadows, fields and alongside the River Rhine
