Domestic industry in Neustadt an der Weinstraße

Tourism plays a major part in the town's economy. It secures numerous jobs in the areas of service, gastronomy and wine merchandise.

The “Tourist, Kongress-und Saalbau GmbH” (TKS) is a daughter company of the town administration of Neustadt  It  is a marketing organisation with a range of tasks including advertising and intensive media work to promote tourism in the town and its neighbouring wine villages.

The “Saalbau”, close to the tourist office and the main station is an important and impressive venue for cultural events in Neustadt and the surrounding area. The highly-responsive tourist office team is available to organise the many diverse events that take place within the multifunctional Saalbau building.
